To ensure the best possible care for our rabbits and fairness to both buyer and seller, the following policy applies to all sales.
🐰 Age Policy
By our farm standards, no rabbit will leave Bimland Farms before 8 weeks of age.
This allows proper weaning, social development, and strength before transitioning to a new home.
💳 Deposit Policy
- A $10BBD non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a rabbit.
- Deposit is required only after your Rabbit Request Form has been reviewed and approved.
- Banking details will be sent via email after approval.
- The remaining balance is due at pickup.
If the rabbit is not collected at the agreed time, the deposit is forfeited and the rabbit may be offered to another buyer.
🏥 Health Policy
All rabbits are sold in good health and free from visible defects at the time of pickup.
Buyers will be shown the rabbit and given the opportunity to ask questions before final payment.
Due to environmental differences once the rabbit leaves our care, we cannot guarantee health after pickup. However, we are always willing to offer guidance and support.
🚫 Shipping
We do not ship rabbits.
All rabbits must be picked up in Barbados by appointment.
👨👩👧 Youth Buyers
Buyers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at pickup.
🧺 Pickup Requirements
Please bring a secure carrier or ventilated box for safe transport.
Basic feeding and care instructions will be provided at pickup.
🐾 Buyer Responsibility
By purchasing a rabbit from Bimland Farms, you agree to:
- Provide clean housing
- Provide proper nutrition and fresh water daily
- Protect rabbits from excessive heat (important in Barbados)
- Provide humane and responsible care
🔄 Return Policy
If at any point you are no longer able to care for your rabbit, please contact us.
We may accept the rabbit back if space allows. No refunds will be given.
